What we do
Access Portugal is a one-stop office for people moving to Portugal or already living here. Clients come to us with a situation — a retirement abroad, a remote job, a Portuguese grandparent, a company to set up, a property to buy — and leave with a route, a document list and someone who files and follows up.
Six service families cover most needs:
- Visas and residence permits — D7, D8, D2, D1, family reunification, study, job seeker, CPLP and the residence permit at AIMA.
- Portuguese citizenship — by residence, marriage, descent or birth in Portugal, under the nationality law as amended in 2026.
- Moving to Portugal — NIF, NISS and health number, bank account, housing, schools, driving licence exchange.
- Legal services — Portuguese lawyers, certified translations, apostilles, registrations of marriages and births, company formation.
- Insurance — health, car, home, life, travel and business cover.
- Tax and accounting — tax residency, IRS returns, the IFICI regime, property taxes, bookkeeping for freelancers and companies.
How we work
Every file starts with a conversation, by WhatsApp or e-mail, in English. We confirm which procedure applies and what it costs before you commit. Then we prepare the forms and evidence, book the appointments, and deal with the public offices — AIMA, the civil and commercial registries, Finanças, Segurança Social, the consulates — until the next milestone is clear.
We do not promise outcomes that depend on a consulate or on AIMA; we promise a complete, correctly filed application and honest information about delays.
